The response since ESPN and ABC aired the story about the East Greenbush Pop Warner Challengers has been fantastic! People all around the country have seen that it IS possible to give Physically and Developmentally Disabled youth the Pop Warner Little Scholars experience. Thank you to ESPN and ABC for their support of the Pop Warner Challenger Program.

Association Administrators - We are having a significant problem with the roster software; we expect to have a solution in a couple of weeks. For now, we are requesting that you prepare your rosters using the spreadsheet format from last year save them on your PC then print a copy to bring to Paperwork day. We will notify each association when the roster software is available and provide them with information on how to access. We apologize for the inconvenience. On Saturday, August 26 following the Challenger game at East Greenbush there will be a Pep Rally! At the event there will be a special treat; a DUNKING BOOTH.Would you give a donation for an opportunity to dunk your League Cheer Coordinator (Neville Clothier) or your League President (Mike Parrow)?

Association Administrators - As we previously reported, we are having a significant problem with the roster software; although we expected to have the online roster capability for this season it now appears that this will NOT be the case. Attention - Just a reminder that game scores must be phoned in (448-7277) or E-mailed (cdpwboard@cdpw.org or gamescores@cdpw.org) prior to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday of the weekend in which the game was played. Any game scores not submitted by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday will result in fines being levied against your Association - please get your scores in on a timely basis.

Attention - We have just learned that the cdpwboard@cdpw.org email account has not been appropriately forwarding emails for our review! This fact was confirmed this morning when it released 99 held emails from August and September. We believe that the problem has been repaired. Attention - The 2006 Capital District Pop Warner Cheer Competition Order of Performance has been posted. Due to the confusion related to the Performance Times, we have only posted the time by which squads must be registered. The estimated performance times will be listed in the program provided on the day of the event.As with previous years the first five (5) squads to perform will be brought into the facility at 7:15AM to put their things in their seats and begin the check-in process.

Scholastics Reminder for Association Presidents and Administrators!
As we approach the post season, those participants that whose certified paperwork includes a Scholastic Eligibility Form, must present a satisfactory progress report or report card to be eligible to participate after the October 15, 2007 deadline. The report must be dated between 09/15/2007 and 10/15/2007.(Scholastic Eligibility Questions).

The 2007 Capital District Championship match-ups are firming up... Don't forget, all Championship games are scheduled for Saturday 11/17/2007 at Bleeker Stadium in Albany. Please check the Playoff Brackets for the game times.

Each team participating in the CDPW Super Bowl will need to send 4 volunteers each to work the entrance gate and 50/50 at the following times:
Volunteers for Event Time Association 7:00 - 8:45 North Colonie A and Ballston Spa
8:45 - 11:15 Bethlehem and Troy 11:15 - 1:45 North Colonie and Ballston Spa 1:45 - 4:15 Albany and Schenectady - Belmont
Please note that the completion time is 15 minutes prior to the start of your game to allow parents the opportunity to watch the game. In addition, each team will need 2 people for the chain crew, a spotter in the Announcer booth as well as a Statistician and Spotter on the field.
Weigh-In:
It is a stripped down (gym shorts and socks) weigh in for each team which will occur simultaneously in the locker rooms. Please note that each team should be prepared for weigh-ins at the following times:
