The objective of Capital District Pop Warner is to familiarize players with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading. It also provides them with the opportunity to play in an organized and supervised environment where the goal is to keep the game free from pressure to win at all costs, and to eliminate participation by any volunteer whose goal conflicts with these objectives.

07/14/2008 Roster Note - A change from last year - Please make sure that all FLAG teams have a Division of "Flag Football" and an Age Group of "CUB". No teams should be identified as Tiny Mite.
06/30/2008 Administrators - The Capital District Pop Warner Participant Waiver is now available on-line. This waiver must be approved by the President of the Association that is releasing the child. To download a copy of the waiver please click this link - Participant Waiver.

Football 05/29/2008 The USA Football Youth Coaching School Online Course is now available ($9.99/coach). As previously noted, ALL Head Football Coaches must take this course in 2008. Clicking the USA Football logo (below) will take you to the Coaching page of the Pop Warner website. Follow the instructions for USA FOOTBALL ONLINE COURSE (about half way down the page).	Cheer News 06/20/2008 A REMINDER - Head Coaches and Cheer Coordinators needing to attend the Regional Clinic MUST BE REGISTERED. The registration form is available on the www.easternregion.org website. Clinic News 06/18/2008 As communicated at the recent Association and President's Meetings, the Coaching Clinics for Flag Football Coaches will take on 07/22/2008, 08/06/2008, and 08/14/2008. All clinics will take place at the University at Albany Lecture Centers beginning at 6 PM. 06/18/2008 As a reminder - all parking for CDPW Clinics a the University at Albany should be in the VISITORS' Parking Lot. The VISITORS' Parking Lot is located near the "top" of Collins Circle on the right. Collins Circle is the Main entrance to the University from Washington Avenue. CDPW Challenger 06/15/2009 The first Challenger football game of 2008 will take place at 6PM on 08/22/2008. The game will be hosted by Guilderland Pop Warner at their field. Scholastics News 04/22/2008 Capital District Pop Warner is pleased to announce that our 2008 Scholars Banquet will take place at the Glen Sanders Mansion (Scotia) on Sunday May 18, 2008 from 11 AM to 3 PM (guests will be asked to arrive between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM).
